When you read this People Principle what feeling does it bring?

For me it brings excitement because I realize there are so many people out there I can positively impact. It helps me to see that my existence is about more than just me. I’m not here on this earth to just focus on myself. I’m only one small part of this world not the central focus of it.

My quest is to positively impact as many people as I can while I’m still here. In order to do this I understand there are 2 things I need to do: Grow and Give.

The growth is important because it puts me in a position where my gifts can be fully utilized. It takes time and discipline but without the growth I will miss out on fully utilizing my gifts.

As I continue to grow in my gifting, opportunities will come along for me to use them. This is where the giving comes in. It’s awesome to have the gift but it’s transforming to use that gift to positively impact others. I have to be willing to give of myself to share the gift with others.

As you reflect on the Big Picture Principle ask yourself what impact you want to have on all those other people in the world. How will you grow and give of the gifts God has blessed you with to go beyond yourself and make a difference in the lives of others?
