Easter Sunday – a truly special day where we celebrate the resurrection of Christ and His defeat of the grave.
The truly amazing thing for me about this day is the absolute display of love it took to get here.
The pain and suffering that was absorbed for me is truly beyond my full comprehension.
And knowing that the pain and suffering was absorbed by He who did not deserve it, makes it even more overwhelming.

I can think back to times as a child when I would get punished for something I didn’t do, I’m sure we can all relate. 🙂
When that happens you feel mad, you feel wronged, and you are upset.
The last thing you are thinking is you will gladly take this punishment even though you did no wrong.
But that is exactly what Jesus did for us when He sacrificed His life for ours.
He took the blows so we wouldn’t have to.
What greater display of love can there be?

Today, no matter where you are in your walk of faith, I ask you to reflect on this.
You are so loved that He gave up His life willingly so that you may be saved!
That means no matter what you face here on this earth, no matter what the struggle, no matter how many times you fail, no matter how many times you may turn from Him…….He still loves you!
Don’t ever lose sight of that!
Don’t ever lose sight of the fact there is always someone that truly loves you, even when you are most broken!

Embrace His love today and let it change your life forever!
