This past weekend I had the privilege of providing a leadership lesson to about 50 men at our Church’s Men’s Breakfast. I should say it was more of a leadership discussion as that’s how comfortable it felt. It was such a blessing.

John Maxwell said in one of his books that you know when you’re doing truly rewarding work because when you do it you think to yourself, I was born for this. I can tell you that is the feeling I had on Saturday morning. I felt like I was utilizing my gifts to positively impact the lives of others.

This is a feeling I think we should all search out. What is that thing in your life that you get the most enjoyment from, that people continually compliment you for doing? What are you really good at? If you know what that thing is then the next question is are you doing it?

I want you to find your area of gifting so you can feel the same way and be a true light to those around you. Take the time to find your purpose and then pursue opportunities to use it.

I know this is just the beginning and there are more opportunities lining up for me to continue to use my gifts. I look forward to walking through the doors He will open.
