Yes, we all must protect ourselves from the schemes that will be thrown at us throughout our lives. The devil is always trying to find a way into our lives to bring us down and move us further away from God. But what type of armor is this verse talking about?

The armor of God consists of the following things: Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Faith, Salvation and The Spirit. When these things are truly in our lives we are protected and victorious. You can stand against anything when this armor is protecting you.

Our job is to make sure we utilize this armor each and every day. As you wake up each day, pray that you would have Truth, Righteousness, Peace, Faith, Salvation and The Spirit within you. Put on the armor of God and be victorious!
