We are all defined by our actions. Our actions show everyone around us who we are and what we believe. Our actions should be the outward reflection of what we feel in our hearts.

I can’t see what’s on your heart but I can see what you do. If something is truly in your heart wouldn’t it be reflected in your actions? I would hope so but unfortunately we all fall short in this area at times. I know I haven’t always let my actions reflect who I truly am as a person.

Sometimes we give in to peer pressure, not wanting to be different or a lack of conviction in our beliefs and our actions don’t reflect who we truly are. We go along with the crowd even though we know the crowd is wrong, because we are afraid to stand up.

I pray we can evolve to a point where our heart is always reflected in our actions. When our heart is full of love for others, then it should show in how we treat everyone. When our heart is full of compassion for others, then it should show in our caring for others. When our heart is full of the Fruits of the Spirit, then everyone we come in contact with will know by our actions.

I’m not there yet, I’m still a work in progress. The beautiful thing is we all are. Let’s use each day we are blessed with to become more of a reflection of Christ, especially the love He has for us all. Let’s choose to evolve, each and every day. Let your actions reflect who you truly are!
