As I mentioned last week, I’m back on my John Maxwell Leadership Journey. When I dove back into Leadershift, I came upon the quote in the image and it spoke to me. I could look back on my life and see the times when I didn’t see my true value and in those times I wasn’t investing in myself. I was going along with no real plan for growth and improvement. I was just existing and not truly living.

How many of you can relate to this? Are you in the situation right now where you’re not investing in yourself because you don’t see value in yourself?

It’s so easy for you to fall into this way of thinking, especially if you’re dealing with difficulty in your life. The struggle causes you to think less of yourself which in turn keeps you from seeing the true value you have. To break free from this thought pattern you have to realize you were made to not just exist but to live. To live means to grow into who you’re called to be.

Know that you have value and others are waiting on something that only you can give. Invest in yourself so you can release the gifts within you.
