Tuesday Thought – 24

It seemed appropriate for today’s Tuesday Thought to be titled 24. The tragic news of the passing of Kobe Bryant, his daughter and the 7 other passengers on that helicopter has left so many people shaken and numb. It’s a tale of a life that many will say ended too soon. A life that still had so much left to give to the world is now gone.

But the reaction from around the world shows that Kobe’s impact on this world will not be forgotten. His influence transcends basketball and reaches across barriers. He was able to inspire so many to be more than they thought they could be. He worked to fully develop the gifts he was blessed with and to use those gifts to inspire others.

There are 24 hours in each day. While we don’t know how many of those days we have on this earth, think about the impact that could be made if we focused on fully utilizing those 24 hours. What would this world look like if we worked to fully develop the gifts we’ve each been blessed with and used them to inspire others?

Let’s not wonder anymore, let’s start doing it!
