As I continue the work on my second book, I wanted to take a moment to reflect back on my first book.

When I felt the calling to write my book several years ago, I wasn’t sure what the end result would be. All I felt was a strong desire to put my life transformation, my journey to becoming a better man through my relationship with Christ, down on paper. My hope was to help others on their walk through life. I wanted people to see that even through all the failures and setbacks that come in our lives, God still as a tremendous plan for each of us.

The book has been out for over a year and while it’s not a New York Times bestseller, I can say that my hope was fulfilled. The feedback and words of thanks I’ve received let’s me know that I’ve touched, and in some cases changed, lives. It is a truly humbling and inspiring feeling.

Each of us has gifts within us to inspire others and change lives. The key is finding your purpose and releasing those gifts. I encourage each of you to start your own personal journey. It may not be easy but it’s a journey worth taking!
