For many children this week marks Spring Break, which means many families are headed on the road for Spring Break vacation. Now imagine this, you have the destination you want to go but you have no map, no Google and no GPS to instruct you on how to get there. How frustrating and difficult would that trip be!

All the joy would leave as you struggle to find your way while traffic zooms around you and your kids are in the back asking “Are we there yet?” All of a sudden that trip, which should be full of laughter and joy, is now a nightmare. Without the instructions and directions to arrive at your final destination, it’s become a disaster.

This is what happens to our lives when we attempt to live them without any instruction or direction. This life which we were given to enjoy and live fully becomes difficult and hard to manage. Each day is a struggle as we try to find our way.

The good news is the instruction manual is right there for each of us to use. Jesus showed us the way in the Gospels, all we have to do is read and follow.

You were not given this life to be in constant struggle and despair. You were given this life to live it fully, utilizing your gifts to be a blessing to others. Let His instructions guide you back to the path you need to be on.
