Every day is a day of renewal! Do you feel that?
This verse is so powerful because it acknowledges the frailty of our human bodies but shows the power in the renewal of our spirit.
Even though our earthly bodies will endure pain, aches, discomfort and eventually failure, our spirits can be renewed each day.
The renewal of your spirit allows us to endure the discomfort that our bodies bring us at times.
The renewal of your spirit encourages you to keep going and never give up.

I see this play out in my life almost daily with the back issues I deal with.
Even today as I type this, I can feel the dull ache that at times is constant.
But despite that I can keep a smile on my face and joy in my heart because I allow my spirit to be renewed each day.
I know that without this daily renewal of my spirit I would give in to the aches and pains I feel.
That would then translate to the way I live my life and how I interact with others.
Without the daily renewal of my spirit, my life centers around the pain I feel and not the blessings I have.
Without the daily renewal of my spirit, it’s easier to give up.

We will all experience some type of physical discomfort throughout our lives.
The discomfort is a reminder to us all of the frailty of this human body we live in.
That is why it’s so important for us to focus on the spirit within us not the body that surrounds it.
Make sure you spend time each day renewing your spirit so you will be able to live your life with joy despite your physical circumstances.
