One of the exciting parts of having my book launch is I can now focus again on writing my blog. The blog is where the idea for the book all started and it’s where I truly enjoy sharing my thoughts with each of you.

Today’s title asks the question, what lights your path? I think it is an important question for each of us to reflect on.

When times get dark and life is full of trials and tribulation, what brings you out of that darkness? I have realized over the years that I needed something solid, something bright to guide me out of the darkness.

The light I found was in the Word of God. The hope, love and grace found in His word provided the light I needed. It showed me that no matter how dark the path became there was always a way out. That even in the darkness there could be hope. That even in the darkness my path was still there.

Without that light to guide your way you will continue to fumble around in the darkness, never truly finding your way back to the path you need to be on. Life will be tougher and your despair will grow deeper.

It is so important for each of us to have this solid foundation so when the darkness of life comes you will not be afraid. You will know there is a source of light that will guide you through the darkness and back on the path to the blessed life God has for you.

Today make sure you have that source of light!
