Opening the door allows someone to come into your life. This is what I did several years ago when I finally opened the door and let Jesus into my life.

The funny thing is the knocking was there all along, but I had tuned my ears to not hear it. I pretended the knocking didn’t exist, as I continued on with my life. But then a series of events made me realize, I needed to change the way I was living. At that moment, I was able to hear the knocking and I was ready to open the door. At that moment, my life changed forever.

I’m so thankful that Jesus isn’t like the UPS man who knocks at the door and if you aren’t there leaves a note saying you missed a delivery. No, He continues to knock even when we ignore the fact He is on the other side of the door. He continues to knock even though many will never open the door. He continues to knock because of His great love for each of us.

I want each of you to know this, no matter where you are in life or what you are going through He will always be on the other side of the door. He will be there knocking and waiting for you to open, no matter how long it may take. He wants to come into your life and bring everlasting change. So when you’re ready, just open the door!
