The past 2 months have been a great period of reflection for me.
I’ve slowed things down, backed off my blogging schedule, and focused on the many things I’ve been blessed with.
I’ve dug deeper into my relationship with God and how much He has impacted my life.
There is no doubt He has been a part of my life every step of the way, even when I wasn’t acknowledging His presence.

Many times, and it’s usually when difficulty arises, we ask where God is.
We wonder how He can be with us in the midst of the turmoil and chaos.
While the storm is raging, it’s hard for us to see His steady hand guiding us through.
But once the storm is over, take time to reflect back on what you just went through and you will see Him there.

In my life God always seemed to shine brightest in my storms.
It’s in the storms, I truly had to turn to Him and lean on His strength.
It’s in the storms, I saw Him keep me from disaster.
It’s in the storms, I realized how much He truly loves me.

I encourage each of you to take some time to reflect on your own lives.
If you ever doubted God’s presence in your life, take a look at those past storms in your life.
Reflect back on how you made it through when at the time there didn’t seem to be a way through.
In that reflection, you will see how His loving hands guided you to calmer waters maybe without you realizing it.
He is never too far away!
