The start of the week is a good time to do a little reflection.
I like to reflect on how the previous week went for me.
I especially like to reflect on the positive moments of the week.
Those moments when I achieved a goal, inspired someone, overcame an obstacle or kept moving forward when I didn’t want to.
Thinking about these moments helps me to feel good about the direction my life is going.
How about you?
What do the positive moments of last week look like for you?
What goals did you achieve?
What lives did you impact?
Who did you inspire?
To whom did you show love?
Before you say that you did none of those things or that you did not have positive moments take some time to think again.
Reflect on the time you flashed a smile at someone you didn’t know, the time you gave your time and attention to a loved one, the time you got up to complete that workout when you didn’t feel like it, etc.
Each of you had numerous moments like these last week you can build off of as you go into this new week.
Start your week on a positive note reflecting on these things, not the things you didn’t accomplish.
Train your mind to focus on the positive so that you have the momentum to keep moving forward.
