Psalms 125:1 (NLT), “Those who trust in the lord are as secure as Mount Zion; they will not be defeated but will endure forever.”
Broken! We’ve all broken things in our lifetime. For me, there were broken bones, broken windows and even broken promises. Each of these broken things had one similarity, they could all be fixed. The broken bones healed with time. The broken windows were replaced. Even the broken promises were made right. Yes it may take some time, and yes there may be some pain involved at times, but broken things can be made right.
This is true of each of us and our lives. You are broken by sin and the condition it has left each of us in. You may be broken by abusive relationships, failed marriages, lost children, self-doubt, depression, the list could go on and on. Your life may not always be easy and things may not always go your way. Life may be a struggle for you. The difficulties you are facing may leave you battered and broken, feeling like there is no hope. But this is the point where Jesus steps in because He brings hope and love. He is saying to you, I am here!
Jesus wants to heal your brokenness. He wants to put you on the road to recovery and victory. Through all your brokenness remember one thing, you aren’t defeated! That’s a key point you have to remember. Being broken doesn’t mean you’ve lost the fight! Being broken doesn’t mean you give up! Jesus wants you to come to Him in your brokenness so He can give you what you need to heal, fight back and get back in the game of life.
The enemy wants you to believe that when you’re broken no one wants you. He wants you alone and isolated, feeling you’re not worth anything. He knows if he can keep you there, he can keep you feeling defeated. And if he can keep you feeling defeated and beyond repair, he can keep you from coming to the loving arms of God.
Please understand that no matter what your life may look like and how many pieces it’s broken into, God can and will heal you! You are never too far away or removed from His mercy, love and grace. Your brokenness makes you no less loved by God. He wants to heal you! Take the step toward Him and let the healing begin my friend!
Remember, you may be broken but you’re not defeated!

No truer words have been said! We all have been broken at times. God is there. Through it all. As we all have a story to write, I’m on my second novel 😊, God is there first. Planning my steps. How do I react to those is when the story is good. Thank you!!
Yes Lori we all have been broken at times! We just have to realize that it’s not the end of the story! 🙂
