Becoming a leader doesn’t mean you never have to follow again. To me, it’s the time when you have to follow more.
It’s a time when you need the humility to follow the members of your team who you’ve empowered.
It’s a time to lean on their experiences and expertise to help make the entire organization better.
Leadership is knowing that even though I set the course for the people that are following me, I will need their expertise to get to the final destination.
