My message on this blessed Friday is pretty simple and it’s one word – RELAX.
It’s funny how at times we can feel guilty about relaxing. We’ve grown into this mindset that relaxation equals laziness because all we see around us every day is people in constant motion. This is so true living up here in the Washington DC area.
But I was reminded this week how important it is for each of us to take some time out of our busy schedules to just relax. Our bodies and our minds need it and if we aren’t careful we can do them harm.
So take some time this weekend to truly relax and let your mind and body slow down and reset. And don’t worry, the world will still move forward without you doing the pushing!
