If God were to search your heart today what would be found? Would your heart be full of the Fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control? Would your heart be full of other things like jealousy, envy, hatred, prejudice, fear, judgment and pride?

The truth is our hearts don’t need to be laid open to see what’s in them. The actions we take in our lives every day reveal what’s in our hearts. The way we treat others, to include our families and co-workers, is a window into our hearts.

Today ask yourself what is in your heart. Take time to reflect on your life and the relationships you have to see what your actions reveal. If you see your actions falling short of the person you want to be then it’s time to make changes. Today is a great day to start.
