I’ve always believed in God.
As a young child growing up in church I believed in His love for us all.
I had faith that He would take care of us.
As I grew older I started to realize there was a plan and purpose for my life.
I had faith in His promises and that plan for my life.
But early on I didn’t understand that my faith was revealed through my actions.
I believed that if God wanted it to happen in my life it would happen.
I would sit back and wait on Him thinking that if this is truly for me then it will happen.
As you can imagine, there were many times when nothing happened.
Why? Because even though I said I had faith it wasn’t reflected in my actions.
I didn’t want to take the steps necessary to follow His path.
For me it was safer to not take chances and to sit back in my comfort zone and say I have faith.
It wasn’t until I stepped out in faith with my actions that I began to see Him truly work in my life.
In the past few years I’ve seen so many examples of this.
My wife and I starting a ministry to help those in need when we had never done anything like that before.
My continued writing of these blogs and the book I’m working on, again things outside of my comfort zone.
And starting a Life Coaching business with no prior experience owning a business.
All based on complete faith in what God was telling me.
None of this comes about without taking action to go along with my faith.
You can’t sit back and wait for it to happen, you have to step out in faith and take action to see your dreams become reality.
