Philippians 4:13 (NLT), “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.”

Perseverance is the steadfastness in doing something despite difficulty or delay in achieving success. It’s the attitude that no matter what the situation looks like you won’t stop working towards reaching success. Perseverance keeps you moving forward when the enemy puts roadblock after roadblock in front of you.

Perseverance is needed in all aspects of your life. If you are pursuing education goals, you will need perseverance to push through all your classes. If you are dealing with health issues, you will need perseverance to push through the pain and discomfort. If you are working through relationship problems, you will need perseverance to stick it out through the difficult times. If you’re building a business, you will need perseverance to deal with the ups and downs of being a business owner. Whatever you are dealing with or pursuing, perseverance is needed to get you to and through the finish line.

The awesome thing is God has equipped each of you with the perseverance to push through life’s difficulties. The Holy Spirit inside of each of you provides the Fruits of the Spirit. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control are the tools you need. When you use these gifts, you will find the perseverance within yourself to push through difficulties and continue the journey to the blessed life God has for you!
