1 Corinthians 13:4-7 (NLT), “Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”
Yesterday was Mother’s Day, a special day for all the Mom’s out there. It gives us all a chance to reflect on the love we received from our Mom’s as children. There was nothing my Mom wouldn’t do for us as kids growing up. This included disciplining us when needed so we would learn right from wrong. Oh how that all helped shape us into the adults we are now. A mother’s love has the power to transform a child, to help them grow into more than they could ever imagine. All the while knowing that if tough times came, Mom would be there.
Unfortunately some of you didn’t feel that type of love from your Mom when growing up or even now. While that is tough to deal with, the great reality is your Heavenly Father can provide that love and support you are looking for. His love can fill you with the confidence you need to be all you can be. You just have to call on Him!
Whether it’s the love and support you receive from your mother or the love and support from God, you never have to feel alone. You are loved more than you can imagine! Embrace that reality and step into your blessed life my friends!
