Psalms 90:17 (NLT), “And may the Lord our God show us his approval and make our efforts successful. Yes, make our efforts successful. ”

In whatever you do in life, give it your all. This is a message I try to pass on to my kids but it’s also a message I need to remember and act on daily. God calls on each of us to do our best, utilizing the gifts and talents He has given us. This truly covers all aspects of your life.

The relationship you are in, doesn’t it deserve the best you have to give? What about the job God blessed you with, doesn’t it deserve your best effort while you are at work? What about your educational pursuits, shouldn’t you give your best effort while in school? Or the ministry God has called you to support, doesn’t He deserve your best effort in it?

I understand giving your best in all things at all times could seem like an impossible task. I know because I have failed at it myself. But I believe the key is to always focus on giving your best effort and even if you fall short of 100% effort, you will be successful with God’s blessing.
